Daily Outdoor Hydration Streak Counter
Set a daily water target, log each drink, and keep a streak going on the days you reach it. Everything is saved in your own browser.
Your inputs
How it works
Your target is stored in millilitres, whichever unit you choose. One glass counts as 250 ml, so a target of 8 glasses is 2,000 ml, and a target entered directly as 2,000 ml is the same thing. Each drink you log adds to today's total, and the progress display shows how much of today's target you have reached.
A day counts towards your streak when its logged total reaches the target that was in place on that day. The streak counts backwards from today if you have already met today's target, or from yesterday if you have not yet — so a streak is never broken by a day that is still in progress. Days with no log simply do not count, and the streak restarts after a logged day that fell short.
All data is saved in your browser's local storage under a key starting with healthsand_, so it stays on your device and is never uploaded. Clearing your browser data will clear your history, and the log shows the last 30 days only.
How to use your result
Pick a target you can actually reach on an ordinary day, and raise it on hot outdoor days rather than setting an ambitious target you miss and give up on. Log drinks as you finish them, not from memory at night. If you miss a day, just start again the next morning — one missed day is not a reason to abandon the habit.
