Privacy Policy
HealthSand is built so that there is almost nothing to protect: no accounts, no uploads, no analytics, and no advertising trackers. This policy states plainly what happens when you use the site.
What we do not collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any other identifier in order to use the tools. The numbers you enter into a calculator — your weight, your sun exposure, your sleep times — are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our server or to any third party. We do not run analytics, advertising networks, or cross-site trackers on these pages, and we do not set cookies for tracking purposes.
What stays in your browser
Two kinds of data stay on your own device and nowhere else. First, the trackers (the grounding tracker and the hydration streak counter) store their entries in your browser's local storage, under keys prefixed with healthsand_. That data lives on your device, can be deleted by clearing your browser's site data, and is never transmitted anywhere. Second, your browser itself may cache page files so the site loads faster; that cache is also local to your device.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider may keep routine server logs (such as the page requested, the time, and a network address) for security and reliability. We do not combine those logs with tool inputs — which never reach the server in the first place — and we do not use them to identify individual visitors or build profiles.
If you email us at contact@healthsand.com, we receive whatever you choose to include in that message, and we use it only to reply to you. We do not add your address to a mailing list, share it, or sell it. You can ask us to delete our copy of a conversation at any time by emailing us again.
Children
HealthSand is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the tools are not directed at children. Parents and guardians should supervise younger users, particularly for sun exposure and activity decisions.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Because the site collects so little, any future change would most likely narrow collection further, not expand it. Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@healthsand.com.
Effective: October 2026.
